Being a Fredericksburg Texas wedding photographer, is probably one of the best jobs a creative girl like me could ask for, for real though. Even though I live about 25 min from Fredericksburg, I burn up the road to there almost every weekend. It’s a wonderful little town filled with unique shops and numerous wineries.

This past weekend, I went to the Lodge at Country Inn Cottages to photograph Marissa and Dillan’s wedding day! The Lodge, is this unique set of cottages, with very tame elk walking around. It has a gorgeous reception venue and wonderful views for a unique ceremony site. Marissa and Dillon made an excellent choice in their wedding venue, because The Lodge really does have it all. You can stay, you can play, and you can get married. What’s not to love?

Speaking of excellent choices, Marissa and Dillan also choose to work with Donna from the Party Affair as their coordinator. She handles every detail, right down to the setup and the clean up. Her and her staff make sure your day is well planned and beautiful. Not to mention, she keeps this photographer on time! Which is very helpful when photographing a wedding!

Marissa and Dillan’s wedding made this Fredericksburg Texas wedding photographer’s heart sing, when they had their ceremony on the hilltop, wanted to take pictures with the elk, and of course Marissa’s color palette. This girl loves her some deep purples with gold and cream. Such a gorgeous combination for an October wedding.

And we can’t overlook, Marissa and Dillan’s love for each other. From their first look to their last dance, it was day filled with love, hugs, kiss, and happy tears!
