These small intimate weddings at Alegria Barn in Fredericksburg Texas, have such a special place in my heart. They are so intimate and so sweet. And if you have followed my photography style for awhile, I’m pretty sure you know that it’s intimate and sweet.

First, let’s meet Kaci and Wes. A sweet couple that traveled to Fredericksburg, Texas with their closest family and friends to tie the knot. We happened to have a cold front blow in that morning, and while it was super cold, the light was absolutely fabulous at the Alegria Barn in Fredericksburg Texas. Kaci and Wes provided blankets for all their guests, as they said their “I dos” and the weather didn’t seem to bother them! Their sweet ceremony was simple and classy. Wes could not stop smiling at his beautiful bride! Kaci was all smiles too! She did say, “It really didn’t hit me, that I was married until we started taking pictures!” Well Kaci, it’s documented and your wedding was a true Texas Hill Country gem.

Second, Joyful Elopements coordinated the entire thing. We had appetizers, cake, champagne and a first dance. Jennifer and Romana never miss a detail. And it’s such a joy to work with them!

Lastly, a funny story. While I was photographing Kaci and Wes’ wedding rings, I went outside on a table with some cuttings from one of their center pieces. I was gonna style the rings. And, a cat from the venue came up to me AND WOULD NOT LEAVE ME ALONE. Like literally jumping my lap and getting in my face as I was trying to set up and photograph their rings! It was quite embarrassing because all the guests could see me keep pushing the darn cat away from me. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love cats, and I know this one just wanted some attention, but I was working! hahahaha!
