We had a wonderful evening out at the Alegria Barn (Fredericksburg Texas Weddings) for Kyon’s Texas Hill County bridal portraits. I was sooooo happy Kyon opted to take them because besides photographing the actual wedding day, they are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. And I’m glad I live in the south, because bridal portraits are a thing here.

A few things I love about bridal portrait sessions is – we get to take our time, go to different locations, brides get to have trial run with their hair and makeup, and they get to practice in front of the camera. Oh, and another thing, wouldn’t it be sweet to give mom and dad or grandma and grandpa a gorgeous portrait of their baby girl in her wedding dress!

And now that Kyon and Blake’s wedding was last Saturday, I can finally share these beautiful bridal portraits of Kyon. And when I say beautiful, I mean down right gorgeous! I’ve been sitting on these images for two whole months! And not to mention, Donna from the Party Affair saved the day by getting us a beautiful bouquet from The Flower Pail in Fredericksburg, Texas. Katherine Hanson from Devine Texas did her hair, (side note, we totally went to high school together) and Kyon’s own Matron of Honor, Brittany Salazar, did her makeup.

Kyon, is just the sweetest and she has two fur babies! She adores them, so we had to take a couple of images with them. Gotta love those sweet little pups! She was up for anything I asked, standing on sides of hills, turning to chase the sun, getting close the water in heels, and her dress. Eeek! But what we created is something magical. The light at Alegria Barn during the evening is glorious and Vanessa, the venue coordinator was great, driving us around on the golf cart, to all of these spots I had picked out.
